I am not a massive fan of flapjacks, however, since I started working at Aston Hall over 5 years ago, I have been converted… But I do not eat just any flapjack. It has to be the flapjack made by our chefs at the hotel. Most bought in flapjacks are too ‘oaty’, and not fruity enough for me. I am always delighted when the chefs make a new batch of them. The right amount of oats, and fruit, and just right for sweetness. Such a treat!!!! Have you tried them? What did you think?
